I and a friend (both senior citizens) have enjoyed several stays at the villa. The heated pool is a delight as it is so easy to step into via very convenient steps. The villa has all the "mod cons", so we can cook with ease if required and the convenient supermarket and local shops in Polis provides all the fresh meat, fish, salad and vegetables at reasonable prices.
The area is quiet and natural away fron the chaos of Paphos, but the lovely towns of Polis and Latchi are only 3 or 4 miles away. Perfect for our hobby of painting boats, rocks and beautiful hillside views. We also like to travel over the hills from Latchi to Coral bay etc for the sandy beaches...so safe for oldies and kids alike. The views are fantastic!

Lovely villa- very comfortable and well equipped. Weather was fantastics - sunshine all day with an amazing thunder/lightening downpour one evening. We really enjoyed eating at Liza's place- very friendly atmosphere and so hospitable, great Kleftiko on Saturday night.
Highlights for us were spectacular scenery up in the Troodos and great walk from nature trail to get fantastic views of Akamas Peninsula. Also visits to Pafos Archaelogical site at Kourion were very worthwhile. We would (and will!) recommend the villa as a great place to stay.

Last august (2013) we had a wonderful time at the villa. The location was very quiet and there were no tourists. We liked the environment a lot. The villa was very cosy and well equipped. The swimming pool was a dream. We enjoyed the sun during the day and the air-co during the night. Everything we dreamed it would be. The owners had given us plenty of information. At our arrival they had even prepared a welcome - groceries with wine, bread,...... Everything they mentioned in the description was accurate and true. The 5 stars are well deserved.

Having 'discovered' the Polis area around seven years ago we've visited nearly every year since. For us Villa Alexandros embodies the best that this beautiful and peaceful region of Cyprus has to offer. Set in its own garden in a very quiet neighbourhood it is a wonderful place to unwind.
Its location is about 15 minutes drive from Polis makes it a good base for accessing the local amenities, and a surpisingly varied choice of characterful restaurants and tavernas. The villa also offers easy access to the surrounding countryside, especially the mountainous Western Troodos rising behind the villa. Here there are a number of shady cool mountain walks in the Paphos Forest with stunning views at every turn, as well as an opportunity to enjoy the local wildlife at close hand.
